In early July 2012, facing 8 teams in the top tear in its age group (including teams from Toronto and Calgary), the OISC BU15 L4 Predators won silver medals. They finished with a 2-1 record in their division, losing only to an excellent team from Calgary . In the semifinal, the Predators beat a Toronto-based team that finished 1st place in their bracket, in a thriller requiring 8 rounds worth of penalty shots. Despite missing several of their top players in the final match, the Predators lost a close battle to Calgary, 2-0, a true credit to the effort put out by the great players present !!!
CONGRATULATIONS Predators, for reaching the final in 2 consecutive tournaments (Gold at Icebreaker and Silver at GIST) ! Keep up the great work ! Kudos to the parents, manager and coaches for their phenomenal support !!!
