2013 Spring Training Program

NEW FORMAT 

PROGRAM: 2013 SPRING COACHES TRAINING PROGRAM 

WHEN: Mondays 

  • 6-6:40 (Coaches Instruction – Franco CiteTurf Field
  • 6:40-7 (Team Scrimmage on 8, 15 & 22 April)
  • 7-8 (Coaches Scrimmage – Franco CiteTurf Field)
  • 8 PM  – Refreshments & Pizza Social 22 April ONLY – CLUBHOUSE

  

All participants are to bring “both” a white shirt and a dark shirt for the 7 P.M. scrimmage for those coaches who attend the coaches’ practical training.  Only coaches attending the training may participate in the scrimmage.  This is an equal playing time fun scrimmage.

 

WHO: For all Ottawa International Soccer Club coaches.  The first 3 sessions are “Mandatory” for all competitive (U9-U18) Youth Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches but all coaches including Adult, DSP and Recreation coaches will greatly benefit from these informative sessions.  The final 3 Sessions are “Mandatory” for all MINI coaches (Head Coaches and all Assistant Coaches) 

 

PRACTICAL: All training sessions will use OISC teams.

 

PRIZES: The OISC will draw for an attendance prize at each session.

 

NOTE: Refreshments & Pizza at the Clubhouse at 8:15 PM after the 22 April Session

Field will be divided into 8 quadrants with 2 Mini Teams per quadrant. One Master Station. Coaches receive instruction at the Master Station and then put their players through the training at their respective stations.
